Remanufacturing Process

  1. Disassembly: The first step in the refurbishing process is to disassemble the Herman Miller cubicles. This involves carefully taking apart all the components of the cubicle, including panels, work surfaces, and storage units. The metal frame is retained and cleaned.
  2. Cleaning: Once the cubicles are disassembled, they are thoroughly cleaned to remove any dirt, grime, or stains that may have accumulated over time. This is done using a combination of cleaning agents and specialized equipment to ensure that every part of the cubicle is spotless.
  3. Repair and Replacement: After the cubicles are cleaned, any damaged or worn-out parts are repaired or replaced. In this case, new desktops and storage units are added to the metal frame. The refurbished panels are then installed onto the frame. Worn-out hardware is also replaced.
  4. New Fabric and Laminate: The refurbished Herman Miller cubicles are then finished with new fabric and laminate. Clients can choose from a range of fabric and laminate options to match their office decor.
  5. Reassembly: Once all repairs and replacements are complete and new fabric and laminate have been added, the cubicles are reassembled. This involves carefully fitting all the components back together to ensure that the cubicle is structurally sound and functional.
